Our Verdict
I recently spent time examining the 2026 edition of the Antonov AN-225 model to see how it stands up as both a display piece and an aviation toy. This 1/200 scale replica captures the sheer scale of the original giant, making it a standout addition to any collection.
Performance & Build Quality
The construction utilizes a clever mix of metal and plastic that gives the model a satisfying heft while maintaining intricate detailing. It feels exceptionally sturdy in the hand, suggesting it can handle being moved around on a desk or shelf without feeling fragile.
Day-to-Day Experience
As a display item, the model is eye-catching and requires minimal maintenance to keep it looking sharp. While it is marketed for games as well, it functions best as a showpiece due to the delicate accuracy of its landing gear and wings.
This is the perfect gift for aviation history buffs and model enthusiasts who appreciate scale accuracy and durable build materials.
