Our Verdict
I recently spent the weekend assembling the MOC-87366 Modern Villa with my children to see how this modular architecture set holds up against standard building blocks. It offers a refreshingly architectural approach to play, focusing on realistic structural design rather than just simple stacking.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality of the modular components is remarkably high, featuring pieces that snap together with precision and hold their shape once completed. The finished structure feels solid and durable, capable of standing up to display or light interaction without losing its structural integrity.
Day-to-Day Experience
The assembly process offers a satisfying challenge that requires patience and focus, making it a great way to spend quality time together. Once built, the final 27 x 26.5 x 32cm villa serves as an impressive display piece that encourages further imaginative play.
This set is perfect for children who have outgrown basic sets and are looking for a more complex, architectural challenge.
Final Thoughts
With an impressive 4.91/5 rating, the MOC-87366 stands out as a top-tier gift for budding builders. Given the $199.00 price tag, it is a significant purchase but one that rewards the user with hours of engaging, high-quality construction time.
